Cecy started off as my husband’s coworker many years ago. We have become good friends over the years, and I have admired how she finds the time yearly to travel with and without their family. Can you believe Cecy has four kids ranging from 11 to 23! She is a delightful woman that has managed amongst life demands to plan and travel to beautiful destinations. I had asked Cecy what motivates her to explore countries? She stated, ” Travel to find yourself, not to get away.” She shared some of her most memorable destinations and travel recommendations.

Meet Jacky and Leo

Meet Jacky and Leo

Jacky and Leo are a young fun loving couple married for 5 years. They enjoy traveling and making new friends where ever they go. Jacky actually is my younger sister. Yes! We are full blooded sisters. Early this year they traveled to Valle de Guadalupe. I actually was not familiar with this destination. Wow! This place is beautiful and unique.

Valle De Guadalupe Travels

The Valle De Guadalupe is located near Ensenada Mexico.  It has become a popular tourist destination for wine and cuisine.  It offers fine dining restaurants and sophisticated food.  This destination is great for a romantic getaway or a place for friends to connect. Jacky and Leo recommend making reservations to any venue you attend and trying the seafood! The oysters and octopus are a staple.

How does a view of the stars at night from the comfort of your own room sound? This unique outdoor bubble hotel has a full size bed, private bathroom and it is climate controlled. Want privacy? You got it! It is surrounded by vines for full privacy. I would consider this to be an upscale version of glamping.

This is an expansive winery that features a bed and breakfast, restaurants, farm and a coffee shop. Jacky and Leo had a great time here. They felt so comfortable relaxing and enjoying one another while sipping on wine and enjoying delicious food. The winery has a huge selection of wines and views to enjoy the beautiful golden sunset.

Other recommendations worth a visit are Cocina De Doña Esthela, Fauna and Cuatro Cuartos. Visiting for a weekend should give you enough time to enjoy the wines, food and beautiful Mexican countryside.

Meet Salina

Meet Salina

I met Salina through a mutual friend a couple years ago. She is such a fun easy-going girl. I enjoyed learning so much about Egypt through her travels, hopefully one day I can visit. Salina was born in Egypt and speaks fluent Arabic and English. She currently resides in West Los Angeles. Salina was kind to share pictures of her recent trip to Egypt.  She offers some travel and food suggestions.  Enjoy!

To enjoy a camel ride you can find them near the beaches or Giza pyramids. Hurghada is a beach resort along the Red Sea coast. There you can scuba dive and find beautiful color fish. They have many restaurants, bars and night clubs.
